If you logged onto Twitter today, you likely saw that #DeleteFacebook was trending again.

Of course, Super Gonorrhea was also trending, so take this all with a grain of salt. Not the Gonorrhea. That would probably hurt. A lot.

In case you didn’t know, #DeleteFacebook also trended back in May 2020 and May 2018. Hey, what’s up with May, Twitter? The big question is, why is #DelteteFAcebbok trending again?

Some people are calling it an awakening. Others, a virtual protest against misinformation, government spying, and the general dumbing down of society.

Landmark Study About Facebook

A few Twitter users pointed back to a 2019 study which found that deleting Facebook produced positive benefits similar to psychotherapy.
