Thanks, Kristy! Yes, it can work even if the keyword is not a question. I don't normally write my own meta description (I follow a program that surprisingly doesn't bother with them). But, no, I wouldn't give the answer in the Meta Description. Just in the first few paragraphs. I usually highlight that paragraph, too, in some way. But, shhhh, don't tell anybody. :)
