Thank you For sharing your perspective, Ryan. I definitely understand that 35 to $40 is a subjective price that doesn't work for everyone.

I have paid more in the past but have not received any higher quality. My current pay is based on either price points that the writers themselves provide or that they accept by applying. I'm sure there are very good writers that would gladly write articles for a hundred or more dollars per article, but that wouldn't make financial sense for my projects. I'm a lone operator with a limited budget. That's why I end up writing most of my stuff myself, which is usually not a problem for me because I really like to write.
