Typically longer articles do better in Google search because they typically have more valuable content.

On medium, it is a little bit different in my experience.

Supposedly, articles between 6 to 7 minutes do best on medium. My best performing article is right at 7 minutes.

I know that most of my short pieces, under 4 minutes don’t make me very much money at all.

So I try to keep most of my content somewhere between 5 and 7 minutes. I have one that’s around 19 minutes long I think.

And it’s actually doing pretty well compared to my other pieces.
