I’d Be a Millionaire If I Did This 5 Years Ago
My broken dreams can be your money machine.
I missed my millionaire moment, but you can avoid my mistake.
Five years ago (or so), I decided to go all in on my blogging dreams, quit my full-time job, and start writing for a living. It took me 3 to 6 months to find my groove, but I did it.
It’s one of the proudest periods of my life — and the most terrifying.
But then I made a disastrous mistake.

That’s a weird and sad sentence to write.
It’s an even harder truth to swallow. But it’s almost certainly true. Maybe it’s a million, or maybe it’s a quarter of a million or more. That’s parsing money neither of us probably has right now.
The point is that I’d have made a ton more money if it wasn’t for a reasonable and safe decision that turned out to be a massive mistake. Five years ago, I started not only one website but several. One became two sites that became three, four, five.
I’ve probably started seven sites in total, most of which I sold this year.
