I write these topics on both Medium and my own self-hosted websites.

Here is a process I like:
1. Choose a niche.
2. Get a domain name from Name cheap.
3. Use Bluehost or other hosting.
4. Write at least 30 blog posts on low competition keywords.
5. Sign up for Google Adsense & Amazon affiliates and other affiliate programs.
6. Once you get 1,000+ monthly traffic, apply to Ezoic Ad Network.
7. Once you reach 50,000 monthly page views, switch to Mediavine ads.

Keep publishing content after your first 30 posts. It takes time for Google to index and rank them. The first year is the slowest and hardest.
