I think one of the biggest mental hurdles for me was accepting that “not every bird that flew over me had to build a nest on my head".
In other words, I don’t have to give a lot attention to any random or stray thought. I can just acknowledge it and let it pass.
It’s such a simple idea, really. But it changed my life.
